My name is Matthew Ferguson! I am graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in December of 2024 with a video and film production degree, and I specialize in videography, video editing, and broadcast camera/teleprompter operation.

 

Ever since I got my hands on an iPad as a kid, I have been creating stories through video. In tenth grade, I created a viral fan film based on the DC character, the Flash. After high school, I started my freelance videography brand, MFerguson Media, from which I create promotional videos, wedding films, sports hype videos, short films, and real estate videos. During my time at MTSU, I have continued my freelance videography, began work as a freelance video editor for KANO Cyber Institute, and picked up various live-production freelance jobs. This work has all been fueled by a sincere passion for creating compelling stories through videography and video editing.

 

I am proficient in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve, and I have gained valuable experience working with customers and peers in the video and film industry. I still have more to learn; however, I am teachable and eager to work hard. Thank you for your consideration!
